Trent Martin | Co-Founder & Operations Manager
Trent Martin’s journey in the flooring industry began at just 18 years old. While still finishing high school, Trent was already on-site, mastering the technical nuances of floor installations. Since 2012, he has dedicated his career to perfecting the art of resinous flooring, eventually co-founding CEF Floor Coatings.
A lifelong resident of Central Ohio, Trent is driven by a simple mission: to deliver a level of quality that his team can stand behind and a finished product that customers can’t help but rave about. When he isn’t leading the crew or overseeing projects, you can usually find him on the basketball court or enjoying life in the community he has called home his entire life.
Todd Martin | Co-Founder & Business Manager
Todd Martin started working with resinous coatings in 1985 while attending college. He then worked for one of the largest privately held manufacturers in the world as a company trainer. During this time, he witnessed a significant number of positive changes within the epoxy flooring trade. Therefore, in 2012 when Trent expressed interest in starting a business, they both determined that floor coatings would be a good fit as a father and son team.
Todd currently serves the roll of sales, business management and on occasion still enjoys helping with the installation process. He is passionate about floor coatings and sincerely enjoys helping customers fill their resinous flooring needs. Todd considers the trade of resinous coatings to be a healthy addiction that continues to grow with each happy customer.
